Space to understand yourself, your story, and your needs
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Meet Gabriela Byers
My experience in counselling supports clients with a wide range of challenges. My passion lies in guiding individuals through their struggles with trauma, anxiety and relationships.
I am committed to creating a warm, safe space for healing and growth, ensuring that you feel heard and supported throughout your journey.
My in-person sessions take place in a specially designed cob house in my garden in Rugby, a calm, natural space that many clients find grounding and peaceful. Or in my therapy room in Daventry.
The ways I could help you
My experience spans a wide range of client work through my roles at Mind and RoSA, a sexual abuse charity. These roles have given me the privilege of supporting people through many kinds of life challenges, including:
Addiction
- Anxiety and stress
- Boundaries
- Confidence
- Childhood trauma and early experiences
- Domestic abuse
- Identity issues
- Emigration and cultural transitions
- Grief and loss
- Low mood
- Loneliness
- Menopause
- Relationship difficulties
- Trauma and complex trauma
- Work-related issues
…and many others
At RoSA, I also deliver trauma training for clients on the waiting list, helping individuals begin to understand their responses and build grounding skills even before starting therapy.
Alongside my counselling work, I also teach CPCAB Level 2 Counselling, which allows me to share my knowledge and passion for supporting others who are beginning their own counselling journey.
If you recognise yourself in any of these areas or if you are simply feeling lost and don’t know where to begin, you are welcome here.
